In order to allow the public to better understand the development proposals in the NDAs, and to actively reach out to the affected residents and stakeholders, two social service teams, one in each of the KTN and FLN NDAs have been formed.

We have set up a team at the FLN NDA by the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service, including one part-time senior social worker and two full-time social workers in social services team since mid-February 2014 and similarly set up a team by the Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service at the KTN NDA since April 2014. To ensure better understanding by the local community of the development and progress of the NDAs project, the social service teams have taken the initiative of contacting the residents and other stakeholders in the NDAs. At the same time, the teams will collect views and aspirations from them so that the Government could respond as soon as possible.
